Watch: Gwadar to Become Huge Regional Hub

Pakistani Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani has said that Gwadar Port is the future of Pakistan and would become a hub of economic activities for the whole region.

Gwadar Port is a key link on China’s One Belt, One Road initiative, and the construction of the port has been funded by China.

In a meeting with Chairman of the Liaoning Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Mr. Xia Deren, Sanjrani said China had immense experience in the industrialization and development of Special Economic Zones.

The Gwadar project has solidified ties between Pakistan and China, as the latter seeks to become the world’s foremost commercial maritime power.
