CS Maritime DMCC Wins Hero of the Pandemic (Maritime Services) Award

CS Maritime DMCC has won the the Hero of the Pandemic (Maritime Services) Award at the recently held TLME Heroes of the Pandemic Awards 2021 hosted by TV news presenter Katie Jensen with celebrity and 2x world champion boxer, Amir Khan presenting the Special Recognition Awards.

This award celebrates maritime services companies that have taken the initiative and proven ingenious in their application of new ideas and strategies to provide customers with the best possible value.

As a recognition of these strategies CS Maritime, a leading name in the industry, got the most votes for the Hero of the Pandemic (Maritime Services) Award.

In this exclusive red carpet video interview Ranjay Singh, Director, CS Group (CS Maritime) describes how the past 12 months have been a “challenging time” for everybody.

Talking about the awards evening, he said: “It gives everybody the opportunity to come out and connect again. Which is very good.”

On the reasons for CS Maritime winning this award he stated that one of the key reasons was teamwork. For the past 18 months the CS Maritime team have been working remotely. Dealing with the issues of their seafarers and resolving them while working remotely has been one of the biggest challenges.

As one of the positive developments to emerge from the pandemic Mr Singh said that safety at sea has improved greatly and governments across the world are today getting more involved with maritime and seafarers' issues.
