Asyad Group Acquires Skybridge Freight Solutions

Oman-headquartered logistics provider Asyad Group has acquired Dubai-based multimodal freight forwarder Skybridge Freight Solutions (SFS) to expand its geographical scope.

SFS offers freight forwarding services across air, sea, and land, in addition to warehousing and distribution. The company caters to diverse industries including food, energy, automotive, pharmaceuticals, and construction, with over 1,400 customers.

The Group said in a press release: “The acquisition is the group’s first international acquisition in core logistics activities and marks a strategic move to significantly expand Asyad’s footprint through active operations in key trade hubs and major economies such as China, India, the USA, and the GCC, supported by access to SFS’ dynamic network covering over 90 geographies across six continents.”

“Asyad will equip players in GCC markets with stronger connectivity to major cargo origin markets through SFS’ network of associate offices.”
