Saudi Arabia's King Salman Energy Park (SPARK) has announced that its upcoming Logistics Zone will commence operations in 2024.

The state-of-the-art fully-automated logistics zone will feature the first and largest private dry port in the region offering on-site customs clearance services and bonded warehousing facilities.

It will be operated and maintained by SPARK Logistics, a joint venture established between SPARK and Hutchison Ports.

The logistics zone will leverage SPARK’s strategic location in the Eastern Province, serving as a gateway for the regional energy sector.

The new facility provides services for handling containers, breakbulk and project cargo, storage yards, warehousing, customs clearance, bonded and non-bonded logistics solutions tailored to the needs of SPARK energy ecosystem.
