Disruptions “The Norm” in Logistics: Lars Jensen
Future of Logistics Conference moderator sets the tone by asking key questions in his opening address
Opening the third iteration of TLME's Future of Logistics Conference held recently in Dubai, conference moderator and industry thought-leader Lars Jensen said that things may have become almost "normal" for the logistics industry today but "normal does not mean stable or predictable, in fact, quite the opposite," he emphasised.
Today, the magnitude of the disruptions may have come down but unpredictability is still very much present across the supply chain.
Setting the tone for the rest of the conference, Mr Jensen asked about the changes seen in the industry over the last few years and how are we going to use these changes to prepare for the next disruption around the corner.
