The Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY), the foremost ship and rig repair yard in the Arabian Gulf, has recently entered into a co-operation agreement with DHL International-Bahrain, a global leader in logistics and shipping.

This agreement will provide ASRY with express international door-to-door transportation for documents and parcels.

ASRY’s acting chief executive, Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, and DHL's general manager for Bahrain signed the service agreement during an official ceremony at ASRY’s headquarters in Hidd, attended by senior officials from both organisations.

This collaboration is set to streamline ASRY’s supply chain processes and optimise its operations through the integrated logistics solutions DHL will deliver over the next two years as stipulated in the agreement.

The partnership will bolster ASRY’s delivery capabilities, enhancing efficiency, agility, and overall customer service.

Shaikh Mohammed remarked: “We are extremely proud to embark on this collaboration with DHL Bahrain, a world-leading company with extensive experience in logistics and international shipping.”

He further stated: “DHL Bahrain has been our logistics partner for many years, demonstrating exceptional capabilities and competitive strengths. We are excited to advance this fruitful relationship and look forward to a successful and sustainable partnership.”
