Amazon.sa Launched in Saudi Arabia

Amazon.sa to replace Souq.com in the Kingdom

As e-commerce booms across the Middle East region Amazon and Souq have launched Amazon.sa in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to replace Souq.com.

According to a statement on the Amazon.sa website the Amazon-Souq workforce has grown to more than 1400 in recent years and the "new online store brings together Souq's local know how and Amazon's global experience."

Amazon is further strengthening its local logistics in the kingdom even as it currently operates three fulfillment centres and 11 delivery stations.

Products are available from across the world including the US.

Customers can shop on Amazon.sa in Saudi Arabia using their Souq credentials. Deliveries are free for orders above $53. Same day deliveries are also available for select locations.
