Key Industry Leaders to Feature at the 2021 Arab Aviation Summit
The 2021 Arab Aviation Summit (AAS), the region’s leading aviation and tourism industry event, today announced keynote speakers for the summit taking place in Ras Al Khaimah from March 21 until 22 at Al Hamra International Exhibition & Conference Centre.
The eighth edition of the summit will bring together experts to discuss the impact of the pandemic on the industry, the aftermath, and the road to recovery for a stronger future, under the theme, ‘Arab Aviation in the New Normal.’
Among the growing list of keynote speakers are CEOs, Presidents, global aviation & tourism experts, distinguished airline officials, policy makers and representatives.
The summit will run for two days, with extensive workshops on March 21 to discuss Gulf aviation and tourism.
The official AAS kick-off on March 22 will discuss ‘Arab Aviation in the New Normal’.
Guest speakers include Abdul Wahab Teffaha, Secretary General, Arab Air Carriers Organisation; Kamil Al-Awadhi, Regional Vice President - Africa and the Middle East, IATA; Adel Al Ali, Group CEO, Air Arabia; and Raki Phillips, CEO, Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority.

Endorsed by Arab Governments and previously held across the Arab region, the 2021 AAS will be hosted in collaboration with RAK TDA and supported by global industry partners such as Airbus, CFM, Air Arabia, Alpha Aviation Academy, and others.
Al Hamra International Exhibition & Conference Centre in Ras Al Khaimah, the location of the 2021 AAS is the first safe meeting facility in the world, as certified by Bureau Veritas.
The certification follows the implementation of stringent safety and security protocols by Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, offering hospitality and event providers access to global best practice, supportive policies and professional guidance on safety and hygiene.
