Dubai Police is Hero of the Pandemic - Transport & Logistics Authority
Dubai Police has won the Hero of the Pandemic (Transport & Logistics Authority) Award at the glittering awards ceremony hosted by TV news presenter Katie Jensen while A-list celebrity and 2x World Champion boxer Amir Khan presented this Special Recognition Award.
Accepting the Award for Dubai Police, Colonel Hamed Alhashimi said: "I am forwarding here a message from our Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Don't worry. Dont worry because Dubai Police is taking care of the security here.
"However, it is has not been a personal war fought by Dubai Police. But it is a group war fought by everyone in this country.
"We would not have achieved what we have today if it was not a group effort. So stay together and stay safe. Thank you very much."
This award has been created to recognize organisations that have spotted this chink in our safety armour and strived to create new regulations, safety measures and trainings for the workers, passengers, goods and customers along the logistical chain.
