DHL Global Forwarding has won the Most Resilient Performer in Air Cargo Award at the TLME Heroes of the Pandemic Awards 2021 hosted by TV news presenter Katie Jensen with celebrity and 2x world champion boxer, Amir Khan presenting the Special Recognition Awards.

It’s easy to forget the qualities that bring wealth, happiness and security to regions.

This award was created to highlight those brave and resilient companies that have faced recent storms and kept going, showing how they’re the true backbone of our modern world.

Very often we look at the more visually impressive or technologically advanced attributes – yet when hard times strike, we must rely on solid values.

Recognised for its efforts in moving air cargo around the world and maintaining on-time services in the most challenging environments, DHL Global Forwarding wins the maximum votes for the Most Resilient Performer in Air Cargo Award.

Mr Weiss adds: "I think logistics has been critical over the last 18 months. 'Connecting People and Improving Lives', thats our purpose at DHL and our people have done just that. They have moved thousands of tonnes of PPE material, sanitisers, ventilators and also, over 250 million vaccines.

"Our job is now to continue what we have started and bring vaccines to the people around the world to make sure that we all can move forward very soon."
