EgyptAir Begins Non-stop Cairo to Washington DC Service
EgyptAir now offers non-stop flights between Cairo and Washington DC's Dulles International Airport three times a week on its new B787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.
Two B787-9 Dreanliners joined the carrier's fleet in in recent months.
The flights will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Washington is EgyptAir's second US destination after New York and third in North America after Toronto.
Washington is the airline's second new destination in 2019 after Kigali, Rwanda, which it began serving in April.
Air Arabia Egypt launches direct flights between Sohag and Riyadh
By 2020, a total of 33 new jets will have joined EgyptAir's fleet, in addition to six B787-9 Dreamliner jets, 12 A220-300 planes, and 15 Airbus A320neo aircraft.
Meanwhile, EgyptAir has decided to suspend its current flights scheduled for Sudanese capital, Khartoum in light of the on-going unrest there.
