UAE Government Comes Down Heavily on False Rumours About Vaccines
Spreaders of false information to be legally prosecuted
The UAE's health ministry has dismissed recent social media reports about COVID-19 vaccines as false.
In a statement issued on national news agency WAM, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) reminded the public to only trust official sources for credible information and not to pass on informaton unless properly verified.
Those spreading false information will be held legally accountable, the statement warned.
