The Conference
The Future of Logistics Conference: Part II is a 1-day hybrid event bringing leaders in governance, logistics and trade together.
This hybrid event will have both physical and online sessions over one action-packed day in which every voice is championed, healthy debate is fostered, and all points-of-view considered.
Because of the hybrid nature of the event, attendees will be able to ask questions in person, digitally or via a private online messenger.
The key themes of this event will include:
Digitization & e-Commerce
Innovation & New Technologies
Sustainability
Integrated Transport & Logistics
Social, cultural change and geo-political effects (equality & inclusion, the rise of women in logistics, young talent, employee safety, health & wellbeing)
The Innovation Awards
The TLME Innovation Awards 2022 to be held later in the evening is set to see the very best of the supply chain recognised for its efforts in innovating new business models, new technologies and practices, and new working methodologies.
Awards can be won in the areas of Special Recognition, Technology, Sea Freight, Logistics & Air Cargo.
The Awards will be hosted by Dubai television personality Katie Jensen, who returns for her second round of presenting duties after being an excellent and well-received host first-time around.
The Innovation Awards will also see a collection of VIP names from across the Middle East, the supply chain sector and further afield.
This year’s special guest is boxing legend ‘Prince’ Naseem Ahmed.
Prince Naseem is a highly fitting VIP for the event given its core focus is on innovation – something the World Champion boxer exhibited in droves during his career – along with unrivalled skill, lightning-quick speed, and supreme boxing intelligence.
‘Prince’ Naseem Hamed was born in Sheffield, UK, in 1974 to Yemeni parents and quickly rose-up the amateur boxing ranks, securing a European Bantamweight title by only 20 years of age.
Known for his spectacular entrances, natural showmanship, and boxing talent, Hamed went on to hold the WBC, WBO, IBF and IBO titles, making him as one of the finest fighters of his generation.
