MOHAP Wins Hero of the Pandemic - Government Agency Award

The TLME Heroes of the Pandemic Awards were attended by the who's who of the industry and hosted by TV presenter Katie Jensen and A-List Celebrity and 2x World Champion Boxer, Amir Khan creating an evening to remember for all.

In the past year Government agencies have faced unique challenges which have taken a great deal of out-of-the-box thinking and re-strategizing to be to be dealt with successfuly.

UAE's Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) is one such agency that demonstrated a clear understanding of the requirements and limitations of the pandemic situation and taken quick and effective measures so the public at large is safe.

In recognition of these efforts MOHAP has been announced the winner of the prestigious Hero of the Pandemic - Government Agency Award.

The Special Recognition Award was presented by Amir Khan to the Ministry of Health and Prevention at the glittering awards ceremony.

Accepting the Award H.E. Dr Al Meeri said: "First of all I am happy personally and on behalf of the Ministry of Health and Prevention.

"Secondly, this is something for each medical professional who lives in this beautiful country of the United Arab Emirates to be proud of. They sacrificed a lot during this pandemic situation."

His Excellency also thanked the Department of Health Abu Dhabi, the Dubai Health Authority, the Presidential Office, Dubai Healthcare City and players from the private sector for their help and support in fighting the pandemic.
