MOHAP UAE Wins Most Innovative Government Agency 2022 Award

The Most Innovative Government Agency 2022 Award recognises government agencies that have demonstrated regulatory and executive excellence as we recovered from the pandemic and built a new future.

Winner of this TLME Innovation Award 2022, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), has been a rock in recent times for the UAE. The actions of the organization during the pandemic have been vital in getting us to a place where events like this can be held.

Yet MoHAP has continued to innovate and protect people via a range of measures. Recently, MOHAP expanded the scope of its "Hand in Hand" initiative that aims to provide affordable medicines to uninsured and low-income expat patients.

MOHAP has also built in a new integrated eService for newborn Emiratis, built a new digital platform based on advanced sequencing and tracking technology in tracking pharmaceutical drugs from production to customer usage, and implemented an integrated system of early surveillance, investigation, follow-up, and management of events affecting public health to promote general health.

In light of all the above achievements MOHAP has emerged the clear winner for the Most Innovative Government Agency 2022 Award.
