Chinese telecoms giant Huawei has stated it will help Bahrain to become the world's smartest country.
The news broke after Huawei Middle East President Charles Yang spoke at an event in Bahrain recently that was held under the patronage of Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister and chairman of the Supreme Committee for Information and Communication Technology in Bahrain.

Bahrain has a long-held goal of having 5G at the core of its aim to be a smart, safe and connected country.
Huawei’s Middle East HQ is based in Bahrain, meaning the company has strong ties with the Middle Eastern country, with Huawei also committing to training many Bahrain nationals.
