Dubai Police Wins Most Inspiring Government Agency Award

Dubai Police have won the Most Inspiring Government Agency Award at the TLME Inspiration Awards held in Dubai and presented by well-known TV personality Katie Jensen.

Dubai is famed for providing a safe and secure environment for families, businesses and individuals, and this is heavily down to the sterling efforts of Dubai Police who work day and night with cutting-edge technologies to crack down on crime and undesirable behaviour.

As well as being at the forefront of technology in governance, Dubai Police has also modernised socially, in 2023 for instance, the United Arab Emirates’ first ever all-female SWAT team competed in the SWAT World Challenge for the Dubai Police.

The team, endorsed by first lieutenant Yasser al Zarouni, is made up of “jiujitsu champions and keen-eyed sharpshooters” such as lieutenant Latifa al-Salman and sergeant Sheikha Ali Abdullah, as well as nine additional members.
