dnata to Unite with Wallenborn Transports

Airport services provider meets transportation giant

Airport services provider dnata has joined with European transportation provider Wallenborn Transports.

The deal came after Wallenborn completed the acquisition of Agility Global Logistics’ interest in dnata PWC Airport Logistics (DPAL), meaning the two organizations are now embarking on a partnership.

The details of the deal have not been disclosed.

Bernd Leo Struck, Senior Vice President of UAE Cargo and DWC Airline Services at dnata said: “We are driven to provide superior services to the regional market. Joining forces with Wallenborn, a leading air-cargo road feeder services operator, helps us enhance our position in this segment and exploit business opportunities both in the UAE and internationally.”

Frantz Wallenborn, president and CEO of Wallenborn Transports says: “This new venture supports my long-term vision to enhance RFS in the GCC region and make supply chains more effective and efficient.

“We will extend the range and quality of RFS services from, to and within the UAE and invest in digitalization and environmental initiatives that will create dynamic and sustainable opportunities for our customers.”
