Dept of Health Abu Dhabi Wins Hero of the Pandemic - Best Performer

Accepting the award Dr Najim recognised and appreciated the collective efforts of everyone in Abu Dhabi and the UAE: "This award is a testament to the great work everybody in Abu Dhabi and the UAE has done.

"Abu Dhabi has shown leadership and resilience. When decisions were the hardest and when times were the toughest, Abu Dhabi's leadership has put the healthcare of its people and the wider world at the top of its priorities.

"The Award is a recognition to every single person that has contributed: From healthcare, logistics, security and every single person from society who listened to the advice in order to get over the pandemic.

"The fact that there are about 300 people here today gathering and celebrating, while other places around the world are still going through a tough time is a testament to the fact that God willing we have succeeded thanks to the efforts of all of you," concluded Dr Najim.
