Under the patronage of the Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majed bin Abdullah AlQasabi, the General Secretariat of the Federation of the Chambers of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States and the Council of Saudi Chambers will organize the "Gulf Economic Forum" in its second edition in Riyadh on 21-22 October 2018.
The forum will conjoin a broad participation of government officials, businessmen and leaders of economic works.
The Head of the Gulf Chambers Federation, Mohammed Thani Mershid Al-Rumaithi said that the Gulf Economic Forum comes in the context of the efforts being exerted by governments and the private sector in the GCC countries to strengthen economic cooperation.
He also added that the forum's agenda includes the search for opportunities of economic integration, reviewing investment opportunities in the GCC states and how to benefit from relative advantages of these countries to achieve cooperation based on improving quality and positive competition.
This in turn is focussed on the roles of the Gulf Customs Union, service logistics and their roles in the Gulf trade.
