Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Mall will be the first shopping center in the Kingdom to offer free electric charging for its customers, thanks to a number of EVlink electric vehicle charging stations which have been installed at the Mall by Schneider Electric.
The four charging points, situated at gate 4 of the mall’s parking area, will provide free charging for customers’ electric vehicles. The charging stations will be fully operational and running by the end of December this year.
Red Sea Mall is one of the biggest shopping centers in Jeddah and hosts hundreds of brands, both global and local.
Saudi Arabia has launched a number of initiatives to support a transition to a greener, more diversified economy as part of the country’s Vision 2030 strategy.
