Dubai Police has significantly enhanced its key services over the past year by introducing 63 new services and developing 18 digital services, thus completing 44,340 transactions per minute with a customer turnout of 89.6 %.
These statistics were revealed during an annual inspection by Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, to the General Department of Artificial Intelligence at Dubai Police.
Innovative and Smart Projects
During the inspection, Al Marri was acquainted with the digital transformation strategy 2021-2025, the artificial intelligence strategy 2018-2021, and the new global trends in the field of artificial intelligence and technology.
In addition, Al Marri was briefed about the ongoing development projects of services for the current year, and the awards that have been achieved by the Department in this regard. He also reviewed the index of customers’ satisfaction with the force’s digital channels and services for the past year.
The percentage of smart electronic transformation of internal operations, as the department achieved a rate of 98.8%.

The Department has also completed ten integrated projects and successfully interconnected systems with strategic partners. It has also maintained business continuity of (main systems, data centre, database, networks) at 99.69%.
The Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police was also briefed on the Department efforts towards complying with the Dubai Paperless Strategy as it has reached 94.38%, and introduced 133 paperless initiatives including the electronic file of reports, the governance program, smart patrols and others.
The General Department of Artificial Intelligence at Dubai Police has also achieved a digital transformation of services by 98.8% with 703 smart transactions.
The Department has further achieved 100% in compliance with Dubai Police's data policy, 98% in compliance with Dubai Police's standards for people of determination visiting its website, 86% adoption of shared services provided by Smart Dubai.
AI Strategy
Al Marri reviewed the strategic plan of the Artificial Intelligence at Dubai Police for the year 2018-2021, which aims at developing all smart systems into ones that anticipate the special needs of customers based on artificial intelligence methods.
