Brands For Less have won the Hero of the Pandemic (e-Commerce) Award at the TLME Heroes of the Pandemic Awards 2021 hosted by TV news presenter Katie Jensen with celebrity and 2x world champion boxer, Amir Khan presenting the Special Recognition Awards.

As the world has had to adapt to new ways of living in lockdown, e-commerce has become the primary way to shop and ship goods as well as to connect with the wider world.

This award has been created to celebrate the best-performing companies in this space, those who’ve made people’s lives better and kept spirits up during this difficult period in history.

According to CEO of BFL Group, Toufic Kreidieh, his organisation had to think fast while adapting to an alien situation during the pandemic.

As a company, Brand For Less changed the pandemic situation from a catastrophe into an opportunity by focussing the bulk of their resources on e-commerce business as more and more people turned to online shopping.

Some of Mr Beydoun's thoughts on winning the award: "With all the efforts that have been put in during the pandemic I feel ecstatic to win the Award, especially in these challenging times.

"The pandemic has changed the way organisations strategise and think for the future. We believe that customers want to smile when they visit Brands For Less stores and we ensure that we bring smiles to their faces.

"That's our motto: When you smile you just paid less. So with agility and our dynamic team - and teamwork - we are going to make sure we reach our objectives in drawing smiles to people's faces."

Mr Beydoun then goes on to add that he believes today, with digital and harmonised retail, the sector is going to recover faster than expected.
