One Celebrates 1-Year Anniversary

New liner hits first birthday with big promise to expand

Ocean Network Express (ONE) has celebrated its one-year anniversary, stating it is ready to meet the challenges of the global maritime industry.

ONE is an alliance between liners K Line, MOL and NYK.

In a statement, ONE said it has emerged as a significant multi-trade global carrier and that it ensured its competitiveness and relevance with a number of achievements in the past 12 months.

ONE intends to add to its refrigerated container capacity, to the point where ONE is now ranked as one of the top-5 largest refrigerated carriers in the world.

It also includes the introduction of 31 super-large mega container vessels, some of which are 20,000 TEU plus.

ONE also recently launched a terminal with a a four mega-container ship berth.

The new terminal in Pasir Panjang Terminal in Singapore is part of a joint venture with PSA International and can handle 4 million TEU
