Jebel Ali Port has bagged the Most Inspiring Port Award at the Transport and Logistics Middle East Inspiration Awards 2023, at Dubai on Thursday.

This award is for the port that has withstood the winds of challenge and continued to deliver elite service, by plugging itself in to the digital supply chain, thereby changing the industry for the better.

The port of Jebel Ali, also known as Mina Jebel Ali, is the world's ninth busiest port, the largest man-made harbour, and the biggest and by far the busiest port in the Middle East, henceforth, it’s a major node in the Middle Eastern – and global – logistics landscape.

It may be noted that ports remain under huge strain from global trade flows, market peaks and troughs and even global pandemics. When ports buckle, everything buckles.

Jebel Ali has become a cornerstone regarding how the Middle East interacts with the wider world, with the latest technology, brave new designs and a futuristic outlook, the port is the standard setter.

Most recently, the port announced an agreement with shipping giant Maersk to jointly improve customer services as well as to decarbonise operations.
