Asyad Line, Oman’s dedicated container service, is expanding its Far East Express (FEX) service to enhance connectivity between the Arabian Peninsula and the Indian subcontinent. Starting August 2024, the upgraded service will offer fortnightly sailings, linking key ports in China, India, and the GCC region.
This expansion strengthens Oman’s role as a vital transshipment hub, offering businesses reliable and efficient shipping solutions. The increased frequency and capacity of the Far East Express service, particularly with a focus on Sohar Port, provide a competitive advantage for companies prioritising seamless trade flows and reduced transit times.
As part of Asyad Group, this strategic move not only meets the growing demand for dependable shipping services but also positions Oman as a regional hub for investors. The country’s strategic location and business-friendly environment are further highlighted by this development.
