Microsoft’s UAE AI Summer Camp Begins

250 students are present at the inaugural AI Summer Camp which has been initiated by Microsoft at the Dubai Future Accelerators Hub in Jumeirah Emirates Towers.

The AI Summer Camp is training the next generation to be AI pioneers within government and logistics.

The move means the UAE is advancing in becoming one of the AI leading nations of the world.

Necip Ozyucel, Cloud & Enterprise Group Lead, Microsoft Gulf, said: “Experts forecast that 85% of the jobs that will exist 2030, do not exist today, while a study released by the UN shows that AI could help develop 21 million jobs in future.

“Artificial intelligence has already made it to [the] mainstream across every industry, demanding for a workforce that drive results across their organisation. Up-skilling our youth today, will have a significant impact on tomorrow, and our participation at the AI Summer camp reiterates that.”
