DP World has signed a Carbon Removal Certification Agreement for its UAE operations with Industrial Innovation Group, a global leader in the creation of high-tech global carbon removal initiatives.
Decarbonisation is a priority for DP World, which has already committed to becoming carbon-neutral by 2040 and achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
This collaborative effort aims to design an effective long-term solution for sustainable development and achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, particularly in the supply chain and logistics industries.
With its extensive experience in implementing sustainable solutions and drafting decarbonisation strategies for various business sectors, Industrial Innovation Group will develop a carbon removal roadmap across DP World’s UAE value chain.
DP World and Rosatom to Create a Global Logistics Operator
It will ensure the progressive involvement in Voluntary Carbon Removal Projects and support stringent reporting on carbon emission reductions.
