Bolloré Logistics has inaugurated a new 2,650 sqm warehouse in Senegal on the Potou site.
Located near the port of Dakar, this highly strategic site allows maximum exploitation thanks to its innovative construction.
The building has a self-supporting structure: the shelves act as a framework and support the walls and roof. This construction makes it possible to optimize the storage space since there are no poles inside and the structure itself is used as storage space.
The capacity of 3,700 pallets is therefore maximized compared to a standard warehouse. In addition, the insulated walls made of sandwich panels provide good temperature control.

Equipped with platform levellers, automatic doors, washable floor paint and automatic smoke extraction doors, the warehouse stands out in the Senegalese landscape, where the majority of the offer is made up of ageing buildings that do not meet standards.
The work, which lasted just over a year, was carried out by a local company.
The new warehouse is a real showcase for Bolloré Logistics in Senegal, which is improving its service offer and helping to develop the country's infrastructure.
