ADNOC Logistics' Captain Abdulkareem Al Masabi is CEO of the Year 2021

ADNOC Logistics and Services also wins Best Integrated Shipping & Logistics Performer Award

Introducing the third Special Recognition award presented by A-list celebrity and 2x world champion boxer Amir Khan, host for the TLME Heroes of the Pandemic Awards, TV presenter Katie Jensen said: "This award has been created to highlight the CEO that has shown poise and dexterity in maintaining balance, while leading their company through one of the toughest periods in living memory."

There were many worthy contenders for this award but one CEO who stood head and shoulders above the rest was CEO of ADNOC Logistics & Services, Capt. Abdulkareem Al Masabi, who wins the CEO of the Year 2021 award.

Senior VP of ADNOC Logistics & Services, Capt. Mohamed Al Ali accepted the award on behalf of Capt. Al Masabi who gave his acceptance speech via video saying: "I wish I could be there in person tonight. But I believe this is a fair reflection of the post pandemic world that we are interacting from many miles apart.

"I accept this award with a lot of gratitude but I would like to take this opportunity to appreciate the entire ADNOC family and in particular the ADNOC Logistics & Services team for their undeterred commitment over a very difficult period of the last 15 months."

Capt. Al Masabi also thanked and made special mentions for ADNOC's seafarers, site-based staff and all their frontliners who "have made great personal sacrifices" to make sure the global community had uninterrupted access to energy supplies.

Later in the evening, ADNOC Logistics and Services were on stage again. This time for winning the Best Integrated Shipping & Logistics Performer Award.
