Turkish Cargo Preparing For New Home  

Plans terminal with initial capacity of 2 million tons per year

Istanbul New Airport is set to open on October 29th, 2018 with Turkish Cargo moving its operations in a phased manner to the new airport.

Turkish Cargo will continue all of its operations from Istanbul Atatürk Airport until December 31st, 2018.

Post December 31st 2018, all belly hold cargo will be shipped from the Istanbul New Airport and freighters flights will continue to be operated from Istanbul Atatürk Airport.

With the completion of the new airport Turkish Cargo will be able to serve clients better with its 165,000 m² usage area.

Turkish Cargo Flies Higher than The Rest

Turkish Cargo will have a terminal with a capacity of 2 million tons per year upon completion of the first phase of construction, and 4 million tons per year after the second phase of Istanbul New Airport is completed.

A mega hub will integrate artificial intelligence into its operational process once the PCHS and ASRS systems are fully installed.
