Saudia Cargo has recently signed a new Standard Ground Handling Agreement (SGHA) with Swissport International AG, further solidifying its operational presence at Nairobi Airport.
Swissport will manage all ground support aspects, including cargo handling, loading and unloading, and ensuring special care for temperature-sensitive products.
Commenting on this strategic collaboration, Mohanned Badri, Vice President of Operations at Saudia Cargo, expressed: "Our collaboration with Swissport is designed to streamline ground-handling processes, reducing transit times and ensuring that goods reach their destinations in optimal condition. Swissport’s experience will be crucial to our operations at Nairobi Airport, and we are thrilled to extend this partnership."
Swissport will handle Saudia Cargo's eight weekly flights to Nairobi, including four freighter flights on Boeing 747-400s and four passenger flights utilizing Airbus A330s. This agreement marks an exciting development for both companies as they continue to grow their presence in the global cargo market.
