The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced the resumption of domestic flights by national carriers starting on May 31, 2020.
GACA said that it has completed its operational preparations to gradually lift the suspension of domestic flights in order to ensure a safe journey for travelers through Saudi airports.
GACA revealed that the resumption of domestic flights will be in stages to include all local destinations within two weeks.
Saudi Arabia suspended domestic flights on March 21st, 2020 in the light of the spread of the novel Coronavirus pandemic around the world.
