Gulf Air has sympathised with the people of Sri Lanka amidst the bombings that occurred yesterday in a number of locations and has confirmed that its flights to and from the Sri Lankan capital Colombo are operating as normal.
Gulf Air has been advised by the Sri Lankan authorities that the airport and its surroundings are safe and the operations of the airport are still functional.
In a statement Gulf Air said it will continue to monitor the situation closely, as the safety of its passengers and crew remain a top priority for the airline.
Additionally, Gulf Air has learnt that the Sri Lankan authorities have imposed a curfew from 1800hrs – 0600hrs and advises its passengers to arrive at their airport at least 4 hours before their flight.
