Dubai Airport Freezone Authority (DAFZA) has announced that it will be participating in the 15th edition of Arab Health Exhibition and Congress “Arab Health 2019”, to highlight the competitive services and features that it provides for the healthcare sector.
The event will be held at Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre on 28 - 31January.
DAFZA Showcases Cutting-Edge Tech at GITEX
DAFZA's participation in the region’s biggest and the world’s second-biggest exhibition, comes to consolidate its presence in the healthcare and medical service industry in the region.
It will also highlight the role it plays in attracting international key players in the industry to Dubai, in line with the Dubai Plan 2021 and economic diversification policies.
The event is considered one of the key platforms for global companies aiming to showcase their services and products, and launch or expand their operations in the region.
Investments in healthcare sector in the UAE is expected to reach US$32.2 billion in 2027 up from $16.9 billion in 2017.
DAFZA’s participation will also include showcasing more than 2,000 new business domains which were introduced last July and can be selected for the trade license.
Healthcare companies operating within DAFZA include, Johnson & Johnson; Forever Living; Abbott Laboratories; MED-EL Medical Electronics; NSK Middle East; Paul Hartmann Middle East; Vygon Middle East; The Himalaya Drug Co; Hetero; Nipro Middle East; amongst other.
