The Prince Mohammad Bin Salman College for Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence & Advanced Technologies has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the SANS Institute to benefit of the professional and specialised training in the different fields of cyber security.
SANS recently published a report stating security concerns are growing by the day as Internet of Things (IoT) technology becomes more widespread.
Chinese state shipping line Cosco recently suffered a cyberattack, articulating the vulnerability even big name companies have in the contemporary world.
The memorandum was signed by the Dean of the College Dr. Abdullah Al-Dahlawi – on behalf of HE the General Supervisor of the Center for Studies and Media Affairs at the Saudi Royal Court & Chairman of the Saudi Federation for Cyber Security, Programming & Drones (SAFCSP) Dr. Saud Alqahtani.
Dr Alqahtani said: "This is a strategic partnership with the SANS Institute. The aim of the MoU is to integrate SANS' professional courses & training sessions to complement the graduate programs offered by MBS College.
“This partnership will also allow our college students to obtain the internationally recognized professional GIAC certificates in cyber security, protection of industrial-critical systems and other critical disciplines required by the labor market in the Kingdom."
